Proud to support the Variety Club of Buffalo and Women and Children's Hospital

Delta Sonic has been supporting the Variety Club of Buffalo and Women and Children's Hospital for 25 years with donations totaling well over $1 million dollars. Annually Delta Sonic raises money through the Scents for Kids promotion by donating all proceeds from all Little Tree Air Fresheners to the Variety Club telethon, as well as through our annual Golf Tournament. All monies raised for the Variety Club go directly to local children's programs and charities to assist the sick, handicapped and underprivileged children in the Buffalo community. On March 28, 2010, Delta Sonic was proud to present donations totaling $125,718.00 for 2009.

Delta Sonic Supports Haiti Relief Fund

When the country of Haiti was struck by a catastrophic earth quake on January12, 2010 Delta Sonic joined the rest of the world in raising emergency funds. For one month we donated the entire sale ($2) of our windshield solvent top-off to the American Red Cross. At the end of the month, company-wide we were able to present a check for $47,953 to the Haiti Relief Fund.

Donate Life with Upstate New York Transplant Services

This past summer Delta Sonic teamed up with Upstate New York Transplant Services and held blood drives at our Buffalo locations. The UNYTS mobile unit was on-site every week for 6 weeks collecting blood from customers and employees alike. Each donation took about 45 minutes and was the perfect way for customers to pass time waiting for their cars and helping the community at the same time. Upstate New York Transplant Services keeps 100% of the donated blood here in Western New York.

Teaming up with TO

Delta Sonic had the opportunity to team up with Buffalo Bill, #81, Terrell Owens and raise money for the Variety Club of Buffalo. On September 21, a couple hundred fans and nearly as many Delta Sonic employees came out to the Orchard Park location to meet and receive T.O.'s autograph. For every $20 donation to Variety Club, fans received an official T.O. Touch-down Towel, an autographed photo and a Delta Sonic Coupon Book. A local radio station, 97 Rock, was also on-site to help entertain the crowd that waited up to 4 hours to meet the Buffalo Bill. The event raised over $4500.
