Manager Trainee

Candidates will begin their employment in a Manager Trainee Program. This 8 to 12 week hands on paid training program prepares candidates to fill our various level management positions in each of our departments to include the car wash, detail shop, convenience store, food service and oil change. Each level of managers is responsible to know, train, and perform all work duties which include but are not limited to: customer service; sales; scheduling; employee relations; grounds maintenance; and minor repairs.

Minimum requirements:

• Must be able to demonstrate consistent work experience.
• Must have 6 months to 1 year of leadership, management, or key holder experiences.
• Must have a flexible availability to include weekends, nights and holidays.
• Must have a great customer service attitude.
• Must have the patience, motivation and initiative to lead others.
• A valid drivers license is required for management positions in the car wash, detail shop and oil change.

All applicants offered a position must first master relevant entry level positions. This may require working outdoors in extreme weather conditions in both our Car Wash and Detail Shop, followed by Sales Advisor training. After the extensive management training program, based on the weekly evaluations Manager Trainees are then placed at a location in a position according to performance. Positions include a competitive wage, plus bonus and benefits for select job titles.

Cashier

Job Description
This is not an ordinary cashier position. This is a fast paced, multi-tasking, customer focused position that encourages you to exhibit an outgoing and friendly personality. Depending on location staffing needs, cashiers can enjoy working outside at the car wash or inside our state-of-the-art convenience stores. Pay is above average with bonus incentive programs to reward those who excel at the position.

Responsibilities
Greeting all customers in a positive, enthusiastic, professional manner while ensuring that each customer is educated on the products and services that we offer. Additional responsibilities include, but are not limited to, customer service, transacting customer purchases, maintaining proper cash handling and following all position specific procedures. Individuals will be cross trained to work in the position of a Delta Tech within the car wash or detail shop.

Requirements
You must not only be able to successfully perform the responsibilities of the position, but must also be a quick learner, have a strong work ethic with the ability to adapt to procedure changes. Consistently work with a sense of urgency even in extreme hot/cold weather conditions and must stand in an assigned work station for extended periods of time. Need to have a competitive personality with a desire to rank amongst the top cashiers in the company.

Delta Tech

Job Description
This is an entry-level, fast paced, multi-tasking, customer focused, hands-on position. Depending on the location staffing needs, Delta Techs can enjoy working in the car wash or detail shop. Pay is above average with bonus incentive programs and the ability to earn tips based on customer satisfaction, while working in certain positions.

Responsibilities
While working in the car wash, Delta Techs will power wash vehicles prior to entering the car wash and dry vehicles exiting the wash. While working in the detail shop, responsibilities include thoroughly cleaning the interior of vehicles by vacuuming and wiping down all interior components. Select Delta Techs will also be trained to perform other specialty services. The most important responsibility for Delta Techs is achieving customer satisfaction by ensuring Delta Sonic's standards for car quality.

Requirements
You must be able to successfully perform the responsibilities of the position and have a great attitude, excellent communication skills, customer service oriented, adhere to all safety regulations and have a strong work ethic to meet the physical demands of this position. You will be standing, walking, and bending for long periods of time and required to consistently work with a sense of urgency even in extreme hot/cold weather conditions. Must be detail oriented and take pride in satisfying customer expectations. A valid driver's license is preferred but not required.

Food Service Trainee/Preparer

This is an entry level, customer focused hands on position that entails preparing food and beverages within our various food service departments.

Responsibilities
Food Service Clerk's will assist with food preparation according to reference guideline and recipe's. Select Food Service Clerk's will also be trained to perform other specialty services. Additional responsibilities include, but are not limited to, adhering to food safety regulations, transacting customer purchases, maintaining proper cash handling and following all position specific procedures. The most important responsibility is achieving customer satisfaction by ensuring Delta Sonic standards of quality.

Requirements
You must not only be able to successfully perform the responsibilities of the position but also have a great attitude, be team orientated, adhere to all safety regulations, excellent communication skills, customer service orientated and have a strong passion for working in the food service industry. Must have excellent work ethic to meet the physical demands of this position, you will be standing, walking and bending for long periods of time and required to consistently work with a sense of urgency. Previous culinary experience is a plus, but we do offer extensive hands on training for eligible candidates.

Lube Tech
Buffalo and Rochester, NY only Job

Description
This is an entry-level, customer focused, hands-on position that entails performing automotive oil change and service repairs to customer vehicles in our lube shops. Pay is above average with bonus incentive programs based on achieving customer service standards while maintaining efficiency to maximize volumes of vehicles being serviced.

Responsibilities
Lube Techs will perform oil change services, 20-point maintenance checks and minor light duty automotive repairs. Select Lube Techs will also be trained to perform other specialty services as well as greet customers in a positive, enthusiastic, professional manner while ensuring that each customer is educated on the products and services that we offer. The most important responsibility is achieving customer satisfaction by ensuring Delta Sonic's standards of quality.

Requirements
You must be able to successfully perform the responsibilities of the position but also have a great attitude, team oriented, adhere to all safety regulations, excellent communication skills, be customer service oriented and have a strong work ethic to meet the physical demands of the position. You will be standing, walking and bending for long periods of time and required to consistently work with a sense of urgency. You must be at least 18 years old and possess a valid driver's license to work in all lube shop functions. Previous experience a plus, but we do offer extensive hands-on training for eligible candidates.
